Terms & Conditions

Last updated 4 October 2026.

These terms cover your use of soilittle.in and anything you buy from us. Please read them before you order — placing an order or enrolling in a course means you accept them.

1. Who you are dealing with

Soi Little is a sole proprietorship.

  • Proprietor: Shiva Shanthini R
  • Registered address: 127, Golden Grove, Astun Street, Nanjundapuram Main Road, Amman Nagar, Podanur, Coimbatore 641023, Tamil Nadu, India
  • GSTIN: 33FPCPS0043M2ZT
  • Email: billing@soilittle.in
  • Phone: +91 90036 03030

In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean Soi Little, and "you" means the person using the site or placing the order.

2. Who can buy

You need to be 18 or older to place an order or hold an account. If you are younger than that, please ask a parent or guardian to order for you.

We sell and deliver within India only.

3. What we sell

We sell two quite different kinds of thing, and different rules apply to each.

  • Physical goods — hand-crocheted amigurumi and keychains, yarn, and craft supplies.
  • Digital goods and learning — downloadable PDF patterns, recorded video courses, and live online sessions.

4. Handmade means every piece is a little different

Every crocheted piece is made by hand, one at a time. Size, stitch tension, colour and the exact placement of features vary slightly from the photographs and from one piece to the next, and yarn dye lots vary between batches. That is the nature of handmade work rather than a fault, and it is not a reason for a return.

A material difference is another matter entirely — a different design, a different colour family, or a noticeably different size. That is covered by our Shipping, Returns & Refunds policy.

5. Prices, GST and invoices

All prices are in Indian Rupees and include GST at the applicable rate.

A tax invoice is raised when your payment succeeds and emailed to you. Every invoice is also kept under Orders & invoices in your account.

If you are registered for GST and want your GSTIN on the invoice, enter it at checkout. Once an invoice has been issued we may not be able to change it.

We may change prices at any time, but never for an order you have already paid for. If something is listed at an obviously wrong price because of a human or technical error, we may cancel the order and refund you in full rather than honour that price.

6. Paying

  • Shop orders are taken through Cashfree Payments.
  • Course enrolments are taken through Razorpay.

We do not offer Cash on Delivery. Every order is paid for before it is dispatched or unlocked.

Your card, UPI and bank details go straight to the payment provider. We never see them and we never store them.

Your order is confirmed when the payment provider confirms the payment — not when you submit the checkout form.

7. When your order becomes an order

Your order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we confirm your payment and, for physical goods, when we dispatch.

We may decline or cancel an order before dispatch if the item turns out to be out of stock, if we cannot deliver to your address, if the price was wrong, or if we suspect fraud or misuse. If that happens you get a full refund.

8. Delivery

We deliver within India only. Timelines, charges, and what happens when something goes wrong are set out in our Shipping, Returns & Refunds policy.

9. Cancellations, returns and refunds

In short: you may cancel any time before dispatch. After that, we replace or refund where delivery failed, the wrong item arrived, it arrived damaged, or it is materially unlike its description. We do not accept change-of-mind returns, and digital products are not returnable once downloaded or accessed.

The full policy, and the form for raising a request, is at Shipping, Returns & Refunds.

10. Courses, patterns and live sessions

Buying a course or a pattern gives you a personal, non-transferable licence to use it yourself. Unless we say otherwise on the course page, access to a recorded course does not expire.

You may not share your login, re-upload or redistribute a video or PDF, resell it, or use it to run a paid class of your own.

If you would like to sell finished items you have made from one of our patterns, please write to us first — we are usually happy to say yes, and we like to know where our patterns end up.

Live sessions run at the advertised time. If we have to move or cancel one, we will tell you as soon as we can and offer you either a place at the next session or a refund for that session.

We may update course material over time, and we may retire a course. If we retire one you have bought, we will give you reasonable notice and a chance to download whatever is downloadable.

11. What belongs to whom

The photographs, text, patterns, videos, and the Soi Little name and logo belong to us or to our licensors, and are protected by copyright and trade mark law. Please do not copy or reuse them commercially without our written permission.

12. Your account

Keep your password to yourself — you are responsible for what happens under your login. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has got into your account.

We may suspend an account that is being used to abuse the site, the courses, or other people.

13. Reviews and anything else you post

If you post a review, a question or a photograph, it stays yours, but you give us permission to show it on the site and in our own marketing.

Please do not post anything unlawful, abusive, misleading, or that is not yours to post. We may remove anything that does.

14. Safety, and the limits of what we promise

We describe our products as accurately as we can and we work to keep the site running, but we cannot promise it will always be available or completely free of errors.

A safety note that matters: yarn, needles, stuffing and small crocheted parts are not toys for children under three. Small parts can come loose and be swallowed. Please supervise young children around them.

Patterns and courses are instructional. How your piece turns out depends on your own materials, hook size and tension.

So far as the law allows, our total liability in connection with an order is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing here limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

15. Things outside our control

We are not liable for delay or failure caused by something genuinely beyond our control — courier disruption, floods or storms, strikes, power or network failure, or government action. If such an event stops us delivering at all, we will cancel the order and refund you.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one published at the time you placed it, and the date at the top tells you when this version took effect.

17. Law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu have jurisdiction. This does not affect your right under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 to approach a consumer commission where you live.

Grievance redressal

In line with the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, we have a named officer for complaints.

  • Grievance Officer: Shiva Shanthini R, Proprietor
  • Email: billing@soilittle.in
  • Phone: +91 90036 03030
  • Address: 127, Golden Grove, Astun Street, Nanjundapuram Main Road, Amman Nagar, Podanur, Coimbatore 641023, Tamil Nadu, India

We acknowledge every complaint within 48 hours of receiving it, and we aim to resolve it well within one month.

Nothing on this page takes away any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, including your right to approach a consumer commission where you live.
